Observation

Species: Alpine Swift (Tachymarptis melba)
Number: 4-5
Breeding:
Remarks: Among a large group of low flying Pallid Swifts, catching insects over the temporary lake or perhaps insects we flushed by walking through the grass, there were 4 or 5 bigger Alpine Swifts with clearly white bellies and chins. Clear white of belly, and dark breast, rule out Mottled Swift, including ssp. furensis
